Sanitation Programme

A clean community is a dignified community.

Basic sanitation transforms lives in ways that go far beyond cleanliness — it protects health, restores dignity, and gives communities the confidence to thrive.

Access to Sanitation Facilities

No family should live without basic sanitation — yet for thousands of rural households, that is still the daily reality. We have worked to change that by extending sanitation infrastructure directly to poor families in our operational area. Cleaner homes mean healthier families, fewer diseases, and an environment where children can grow up with the dignity every human being deserves.

Awareness & Community Behaviour Change

Building a toilet is only half the work — changing mindsets is the other half. We conduct targeted awareness sessions that help communities understand why sanitation matters, how open defecation affects health, and why every household has a role to play. When one family adopts better practices and inspires their neighbour, real change begins — quietly, powerfully, and from within.

Protecting Women & Young Girls

The burden of inadequate sanitation falls most heavily on women and adolescent girls — robbing them of safety, privacy, and dignity every single day. Our sanitation programme places their needs at the centre, ensuring that improved facilities and awareness reach the households where they are needed most. Because when women are safe and dignified, entire communities rise with them.
